" Le Cottage " is an authentic farmhouse completely and recently renovated to a very high standard; the 4 acres property is located in a very quiet and typical hamlet within 15 mn to Sarlat - the medieval capital of the Black Perigord -, and 3 km from Salignac-Eyvigues, a typical village offering all amenities.

Original beams and typical yellow stones stand in the large living-room with a traditional fireplace (cantou). Our 3 bedrooms are furnished with antiques and decorative items; the 3 en-suite bathrooms offer modern and comfortable equipment such as hydro-massage showers or bath and toilets.

Le Cottage is located only a short drive to Lascaux caves, Les Eyzies and the prehistoric sites of the Vezere valley,

Eyrignac French gardens, Rocamadour, and many outstanding castles along the Dordogne river.

 

Diner is available upon reservation for Euros 20 / person:

The 2-course meal includes Perigord or French traditional specialties,

a choice of local aperitifs and wines such as Bergerac or Cahors.

For Madame... the boudoir Cloe, our "watchcat", enjoys her nap outside...

During winter time, sit near the fire... Diner is slowly cooking in the " cantou ", the traditional Perigord fireplace
